All those with a passion for our mission are welcome to apply to as many opportunities that interest them. We take seriously the responsibility to train and learn from future environmental advocates; students at Earthjustice are tasked with meaningful projects and work with those dedicated to providing a positive and rewarding experience. Find detailed information about our student opportunities below, and we hope you&#8217;ll consider joining us. <\/p>\n<p>We recommend signing up for <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.jobvite.com\/earthjustice\/jobAlerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">job notifications<\/a> to be alerted as soon as new opportunities are posted. We also post these opportunities with career services offices. Earnings are considered taxable income.<\/li>\n<li>Internship job postings detail:\n<ul>\n<li>The hiring office\/program,<\/li>\n<li>Qualifying education levels,<\/li>\n<li>Hourly commitment expectations,<\/li>\n<li>Whether the role may be performed remotely, and<\/li>\n<li>Application instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Interns may <strong>not<\/strong> work more than 12 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>While internships may be posted year-round, most internship opportunities will be posted in:\n<ul>\n<li>January for the upcoming summer (May-August),<\/li>\n<li>April for the upcoming fall (August-December), and<\/li>\n<li>August for the upcoming spring (January-May).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-1\">Externships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><strong>Externs<\/strong> are not paid and <strong>must<\/strong> receive academic credit or fulfill a graduation\/bar exam requirement through their work with Earthjustice.<\/li>\n<li>Externship job postings will detail:\n<ul>\n<li>The hiring office\/program,<\/li>\n<li>Qualifying education levels,<\/li>\n<li>Hourly commitment expectations,<\/li>\n<li>Whether the role may be performed remotely, and<\/li>\n<li>Application instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Externs may <strong>not<\/strong> work more than 16 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Externships are only available during the fall (August-December) and spring (January-May) semesters.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities are typically posted in:\n<ul>\n<li>April for the upcoming fall, and<\/li>\n<li>August for the upcoming spring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-2\">Summer Law Clerkships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/about\/jobs\/law-clerk\"><strong>Earthjustice&#8217;s Summer Law Clerk Program<\/strong><\/a> is for current law students.<\/li>\n<li>Law clerks are paid a one-time stipend, less applicable taxes, at the beginning of their clerkships.<\/li>\n<li>Law clerkship job postings will detail:\n<ul>\n<li>The hiring office\/program,<\/li>\n<li>Whether the role may be performed remotely, and<\/li>\n<li>Application instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Our Summer Law Clerk Program is designed for 10 weeks between May and August on a full-time basis (37.5 hours\/week). Variations to this schedule will be considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/li>\n<li>Law clerks may not work more than 12 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities are typically posted in:\n<ul>\n<li>July for the next summer, and<\/li>\n<li>December for any roles that remain open after Thanksgiving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-3\">Volunteers<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Volunteer opportunities<\/strong> at Earthjustice for undergraduate, graduate, and\/or law students are posted as needed. These opportunities are for discrete projects that need either part- or full-time support.
